The Manpidou rivulet flowing half a mile to the north and suddenly going down, locates the Stone Brush Pond, with a writing brush erecting in water upside down, and pointing to the blue sky directly.
In front of the Stone Brush, there is a small pond getting in the way, deep enough to submerge an adult, named "the front pond", with two sides of steep mountains. Walking by the left side, grasping the rock by the hands, trampling on the stones in the bottom, paddling across the front pond , and landing on the opposite bank, visitors find their way to going forward to the stone brush spot where shows a new field of picturesque scenery: There is a valley with the length of 100m more and the width of 40-50m more. There are giant mountains sandwiching clear streams everywhere. There are high mountains and steep cliffs with the altitude of several decades of meters standing in two sides. There is a mountain waterfall floating into a pond in the front cove, which is known as "the back pond". The back pond is limpid and too deep to see the bottom. By the pond, visitors'heads are covered with water drips and ears are full of water sounds. It is too cold to stay for a long time. The Taiman road directly to the pond is very convenient for visitors. The pond has become as a popular tourist spot, especially in the Tomb-sweeping Day and the Double Ninth Festival.
