This power station was established in 1948.The overseas Chinese raised funds to built it, and it was completed on April, 1952. One set of hydroelectric generating set made in U.S.A. was introduced first. The power of the unit is 175 kilowatts, and electricity was used in resident's life and illumination .And then one set of hydroelectric generating set made in Germany was introduced , the power of the unit is 180 kilowatts. Thereafter, two units were installed. With rated power of 250 kilowatts, the total capacity is 855 kilowatts .For these units were running for more than 30 years, the electromechanical equipment wore out .They were scrapped in 1984. A new factory building was built by the side of the original one , two units with rated power of 1000 kilowatts and 500 kilowatts respectively were set up again .
